I decided myself to run as a candidate to help promote the libertarian philosophy by taking advantage of the potential local media coverage of the registered running candidates and again the local media coverage of the candidate public debates. My goal was to create some awareness. I obtained 400 votes. I had some success.

I had no clue what to do or how to do it but I tried to have some sex once without any prior experience too. We learn faster by doing it ourselves and paying for it ourselves. The OLP granted me permission to represent the party as a candidate. Thank you for putting your trust in me. I was given basic instructions to get my name on the ballot. I got it done my way and basically alone without much guidance nor support from the party. I didn't asked for much help except for our CFO to take care of the CR-1 administration. I was much disappointed in our regional CFO's, yes both of them.

Mr.Jim McIntosh is my hero regarding a CFO's performance. I thank you Jim. I never got a welcome to the party nor a thank you note for running from the party leader at the time. Some minor little personal recognition note sometimes might helps boost involvement and active participation. Words of encouragement sometimes acts as some form of personal gains to maintain motivation.

Only once at one debate did I have a known fellow libertarian in the crowd and he never stepped up to the mike to ask me a question in public. I was disappointed in his inaction. My competitors had team supporters asking leading questions to bring out specific party platforms. The next day, the local media repeated specific party platforms. I tried to prep myself by writing my own speeches and having some standard answers based on our party web site. I trained myself and I made some mistakes.

We just had our summer caucus meeting to introduce this new wikilibertarian service to help build and improve our party synergy. There is not too many early "collaborative" adapters yet. We are all learning and we still have many, many more "Lessons Learned" to experience. We will restore our liberties.--[[User:Neal|Neal]] 21:33, 18 June 2012 (EDT)
