Renaming Is Moving
You can't rename a page. It's not a thing in wiki land. You simply "move" it. Only certain users can move certain page types. If your account is set up to move pages, you'll see an option to move the page on the drop down menu beside the search. A redirect should be left behind for any page that is moved. The software will do this automatically. Our workflow works by "moving" pages between namespaces. ie. "Prep:", "Appr:", "Verf:", and "Finl:" as well as "Exec:".
