Thanks for the input, feedback, and taking the time to reach out.  We really appreciate it.  I have forwarded your thoughts to the rest of the executive.
However, your thoughts conflict with our current plans, and likely would require re-work by some of our volunteers in order to implement.  We have very limited bandwidth, to execute.  Our current executive, and volunteers, are currently working on planning a Money Bomb, the Liberty Conferference in November, our participation in the pride parade, some web and IT infrastructure, the platform re-write, as well as a few other minor projects.
It may be difficult to incorporate everything you've suggested, for a number of reasons, but the executive and volunteers will do our best.  If you would like to volunteer your resources (time, money, skills, connections, etc.) then the executive will look for ways to include you in future projects.  Future projects include branding, marketing, training, and campaign execution.

Anybody with an "idea" for the executive

Candidacy Announcement to Friends

Hi everybody,

I have some fantastic news, for everybody who was robbed a few months ago, by the Canadian Revenue Agency. Great news for the next few generations of Canadians. And, bad newsfor the fat cats currently in Ottawa.

I'm officially running in the 2011 Ontario election, this fall. YOUR RIDING, will actually have a candidate worth voting for. I'd like to introduce those who might not be aware of a party, I'm hoping most of you will support, the Ontario Libertarian Party. Since you're all smart people, you will likely concur that the current government over-steps their boundary, intrudes on our freedom, and doesn't provide as much value as we pay in taxes. Additionally, in my view, current fiscal and monetary policy is unsustainable. The laws of economics, are being ignored by politicians with short attention spans. The libertarian party, is going to try to change that.

Libertarians, are neither conservative, nor liberal. We are an organized, passionate, third corner of the political arena. We have a different way of thinking, about "the system".

The libertarian platform pivots around limiting government to a size that it should be. In our definition, that's anything that's essential to maintain life, liberty, and property. That means any spending with the exception of courts & police, is open for debate, and likely to be cut. We view taxes as theft. We view the health-care system as inefficient. We think education could be improved, by spending less. We don't believe pensions and insurance should be mandatory. We believe reducing the waste, will improve the standard of living, increase leisure time and drive innovation - for the benefit of everybody. Ideally our policy would increase economic growth and innovation at the same rates, in order for humans to be less of a burden on the environment, without burying our children's futures, with debt.

The libertarians are going to run between 50 and the maximum 107 candidates. I have no grand illusions, of winning, this year. I see my efforts as an investment in the future. So, anybody who is interested in helping me build a better Canada, please consider giving me, at least a phone call. 555-555-5555. The party needs volunteers, smart people on our side, financial support, and perhaps most importantly votes! Interesting note, any financial contributions made, are eligible for a 75% tax credit. It's one of the highest subsidies in Canada. You could make a donation, and force the government to spend money on actually improving the system: ie, my campaign!

Consider reaching out to me, 555-555-5555, at your convenience - even if it's just to chat about ideas for the province. I'm a politician now, officially working for you. Or, maybe e-mail me, and let me know when is a good time to call.

For more information, check out my website, or the party web-site: http://www.libertarian.on.gc

I look forward to catching up with all of you. I know it has been too long, since I've been able to visit. I hope everybody doesn't mind me introducing some new concepts to their political framework.

Well chat soon, thanks for reading all the way to the end! :)
