Hi Jim and Rob

I am resigning from the position of Recording Secretary for personal reasons.

I simply cannot afford the time required to do the job effectively, given my personal responsibilities, interests, and goals. Meeting the deadlines and finding a work/life balance is very stressful.

The position requires a huge learning curve for me, and many hours trying to follow and catch up to what is going on behind the scenes. I have never had an interest in this aspect of the party, do not follow all the emails and chats to fully understand the quick discussions at the EC meetings.

Jim, I thank you for your guidance and patience.

I will try to complete all the items on this email [for the Jan 14 minutes], but I cannot do it from this point on.

Sorry to disappoint.
