- Minimum Wage Rate - rename it to "Cut-off Wage Rate"
- Public School - rename it to "Government Controlled Schools"
- Regulations - rename it to "Red Tape"
Things we like that Lots think are bad[edit]
- Capitalism - rename it to "Free Market"
- Big Corporations - rename it to "Job Creators", "Entrepreneurs", "Problem Solvers", "Innovators".
- Legalization of Pot - "Not because we all want to get high, no no, We believe the sale of marjuana could be a lot safer, and take power & money away from street-gangs. It should be taxed at the same rate every-other product is taxed at." Gloss over the fact, that we believe sales tax should be 0%.
Things that will shock somebody who has a poor perception of a Libertarian[edit]
- We take what we want - In fact, the opposite is true.
- We think governments should let the banks fail
- We believe in a legal framework.
- We believe the government should intervene if two business men make a deal, which has repercussions on an involuntary third party's property, life or liberty. Eg. Pollution.
After reading these, maybe a better title would be "Top Misunderstandings About Libertarians.'
