Special Cases
The Spring issue normally includes the Financial Summary with the Income and Expenses for the previous two years. Given this is in the form of a spread sheet, the simplest way to format it as a single page in the book is to save the table as a JPG.
- Select the table you want as an image
- From the [View] menu click on [Zoom to Selection]. If in a Word document, adjust the page magnification to show the entire table.
- Do a 'screen grab <Fn - PrtSc>. This saves it to the Clipboard.
- Copy to a Word document.
- Select the image and Crop it to eliminate everything outside the table.
- Save it as an image.
- Follow the instructions above to upload and insert the image in the page.
- If the image is to be the width of the page, click on [Source] (upper left corner) and make the height: auto; instead of the px size and make the width: 100%; again instead of the px.
Add a News item for the issue[edit]
- Click on <Add Content > (in the top menu)
- Click on <News Item>
- In "Title" enter "Summer 2011 Bulletin now online" (as appropriate.)
- Under "News Type" select "Regular News".
- In the Body, copy the text from the Newsletter page
- Add links to the Newsletter ("See the online version here.") and to the PDF ("See the printable version here.")
- [Preview] and when it looks okay, [Save].
