Sudbury - February 5[edit]
- As of November 20, 2014, Joe Cimino, NDP MPP, resigned as MPP for Sudbury. See news item here.
- Steve Wilson, who ran in Sudbury during the June 12, 2014 General Election has agreed to run again. The by-election must be called by June 20/15.
- Jim McIntosh could be the CFO again, but it would be better if Steve could find someone nearby to act as his CFO, and learn the process so he or she could be CFO for other candidates as well in the 2018 General Election.
- Steve Wilson withdrew as our candidate before the writ was dropped. No other person was identified as a candidate for the Party.
- Glenn Thibeault, a Liberal, won the by-election.
Simcoe North - September 3[edit]
- Garfield Dunlop, Conservative MPP since 1999, resigned his seat to create a vacancy for Patrick Brown, the new PC leader.
- the writ was issued August 5.
- Darren Roskam was our candidate and received 104 votes.
- Darren also ran in the August 4 - October 19 Federal Election in the Electoral District of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte and received 401 votes.
