During Elections

Primary responsibility during elections is to run candidates in each of the ridings in the region.

  1. Obtain the latest mailing list for the Region from the Party, and from the Libertarian Party of Canada.
  2. Contact the members who ran in the previous election (or by-election) and confirm they will run again.
  3. If you have vacant ridings, contact members in the riding and persuade them to run, if only as 'paper'candidates, in their home riding or another vacant riding. This will involve advising them of what needs to be done as a minimum and what additional activities they could engage in.
  4. Provide to confirmed candidates the names and contact info of other libertarians in the riding.
  5. If a recruited candidate is not a voting member, advise them to complete the online membership application, print and sign it, and mail it to the Party with their membership fee.
  6. Ask potential candidates to complete the online Candidate Application form, print and sign it, and send it to the Party.

Between Elections

Primary responsibility between elections is to recruit members and identify opportunities in the region for the Party to become better known
