2021 to 2022[edit]

Due to financial irregularities reported by the Party's Auditor to the Executive Committee in January-February 2021, the Leader, Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and Director of IT resigned their positions.

New Positions were filled by existing members of the Executive Committee and filled with new members to Executive Committee. Additionally, Jacques Boudreau was chosen as Deputy Leader at the AGM, not by Caucus or Convention contrary to our Constitution. This renders his election to the position of Deputy Leader null and void. Jacques briefly was voted in as Vice Chair and then as Interim Leader by the Executive Committee.

There is no motion to appoint Jacques Boudreau as Interim Leader. He is identified as Vice Chairman in the April 5, 2021 Minutes and Interim Leader in the May 3, 2021 Agenda.

Jeff Everingham was asked to perform an Internal audit when Keith Komar resigned . He took control of the Treasurer's records to determine how much Keith owed the Party. When he finished his analysis he turned the records (and the Treasurer's Laptop Keith had purchased) over to Jim McIntosh and submitted his resignation from the Executive Committee on March 29, 2021.

2019 to 2021[edit]

It is expected that the Executive Committee elected at the November 2, 2019 Convention will prepare and lead the Party through the June 2022 General Election. Consideration should be given to Amending the Constitution by increasing the maximum time between convention to four years (or 50 months, to allow some flexibility) so that the term of the Executive Committee expires shortly after the next General Election. In case a minority government calls an election in less than four years, the Party should hold a Convention a few months after the "unscheduled" election to ensure continuity of leadership through the following General Election.

Parts of the 2019 Convention Minutes have been 'vandalized' by Gerry Boudreau. It may be possible to undo his changes.

2017 to 2019[edit]

When Allen Small resigned as Leader shortly after the June 2018 provincial election, the Executive Committee decided to hold the next Convention in 2019 instead of the usual 3 years. This would give the new Executive Committee a three year term which would take them through the 2022 general election.
