Need more facts on how regulations add to the cost of employment - Can we identify the "red tape" that should be eliminated? --Jim McIntosh 13:36, 20 November 2012 (EST)

Need to address unions. Unions can be useful and help their members, but existing legislation give way too much power to unions. --Jim McIntosh 13:36, 20 November 2012 (EST)

Various studies (need to find them) have found that each public sector job costs two private sector jobs. The solution to unemployment is to eliminate lots of public sector jobs. --Jim McIntosh 13:36, 20 November 2012 (EST)

I would like to point out our Libertarian Principle #6; "As a consequence of all the above, every individual -- as long as he or she respects the rights of others -- has the right to live as he or she alone sees fit, as a free trader on a free market."

The freedom to engage oneself as a free trader "in" a free market is the basis of Free Enterprise. No job would exist if individuals don't engage in some form of enterprise. Entrepreneurs engage themselves and employ others to perform some kind of market satisfying activity to which the market is willing to compensate the "job" performers and "job" creators.

We Libertarians will Free Enterprise from fascist government controls in order to facilitate the start-up, establishment and development of "JOBS" for those willing to earn a living by merit. --Neal 15:38, 22 November 2012 (EST)
