Moved that we increase the 2012 Budget for By-elections from $500.00 to $1,000.00 to cover costs of the two by-elections scheduled for September 6, 2012. --Jim McIntosh 16:34, 20 August 2012 (EDT)

Discussion

The original budget was set to cover one by-election, but now we have two; Kitchener-Waterloo and Vaughan.

I have produced 1,000 pamphlets for Allan Dettweiler in K-W and 3,000 for Paolo in Vaughan at an estimated cost of $610.00 (HST included).

Allan says he could place 12 signs. Scott Marshall of Extreme Graphics has quoted $90 (+ HST) per sheet of 4'x8' corplast printed full colour on both sides, which can be configured for various signs. Allan's preference is 24"x32" signs, and Scott can print 6 of them per sheet. Allan could use 12 such signs, which would cost $203.40 (HST included) plus possibly shipping costs. Double that if we provide another 12 signs for Paolo.

$610.00 for pamphlets
$210.00 for 12 signs for Allan
$105.00 for 6 signs for Paolo
$925.00 Total
