Talk:Candidate Succession Policy
it should be the regional coordinator who resolves the disputes. The leader should back the decision of the regional coordinator.--Greg 14:03, 23 October 2011 (MDT)
I agree lets update this doc. I'll make the adjustment--Admin 14:01, 23 October 2011 (MDT)
The final decision has to be with the Leader, since he or she will take the brunt of criticism for any bad press. The Regional Coordinator will make recommendations to the Leader, but the Leader may want to have a discussion with the prospective candidate before accepting the recommendation, especially for new members. The Leader will likely accept the recommendation if he or she has already met and talked to the member, or if the Regional Coordinator provides a satisfactory report on the member. --LibertarianCFO 14:03, 28 November 2011 (EST)
The title should probably be called "Candidate Selection Policy" since it should apply to electoral districts that did not have a Libertarian candidate in the (any?) previous election or by-election. --LibertarianCFO 14:03, 28 November 2011 (EST)--~~
